Coffee With the Bishop

This lively mix of one-on-one reflections on scripture and group conversations is an opportunity to spend time with our bishop and his guests over a hot cup of coffee. Hear stories about life as an Episcopalian, meet friends from our diocese, take a front-row seat in rousing theological debates, and study scripture all with our diocese’s chief pastor. And, as a former professional coffee cupper, you can count on some deep-dives into the world of coffee. Expect other topics such as liturgical practice, running, fitness, with bits of random trivia sprinkled in.

Bible Love

Bible Love is a conversation about scripture between Mary Balfour Van Zandt (priest at Church of the Epiphany Guntersville, Alabama) and Alan Bentrup (priest at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Keller, Texas).

Cursillo

Cursillo (pronounced kur-see-yo) is a ministry of the church. It is also a method to help those of us in the church understand our individual callings to be Christian Leaders. Cursillo provides tools that help us bring Christ into our many environments ‐ family, work, social life, and at church. Cursillo emphasizes servant leadership within these settings.

EFM

What does your faith mean in today’s world? How do we live out our baptismal promises? EfM (Education for Ministry) offers a space to ask the hard questions, study our tradition, and reflect on life through a theological lens. No experience required—just a desire to grow.
