The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection Foundation
The Resurrection Foundation was established in 2009 to further the mission and ministry of our parish. A tax-exempt organization, the foundation affords financial benefits to anyone who donates gifts during their lifetime or after death. At the direction of its Trustees, the foundation annually disburses funds to the parish for mission and outreach, community ministries, and other parish needs. With a current value of approximately $1,000,000, we hope to continue growing the foundation through our planned giving ministry with unrestricted or new donor-designated contributions.

Mission Partnerships
Resurrection is committed to fostering a lifestyle of authentic Christian servanthood for all our members. We provide opportunities to give of time, talent and treasure to the Greenwood community and the larger kingdom of God on earth. Our church gives financially and in kind to several local organizations. But we believe that Christian servanthood is reciprocal, so we have striven to form relationships with the employees of these organizations and actively support them with our time and talents, in addition to our treasures. To that end, Resurrection has a dedicated Mission Partnerships Committee that coordinates our church’s outreach ministry. This committee guides our partnerships with Community Initiatives, Food Bank of Greenwood County, Greenwood Community Home Repair, Greater Greenwood United Ministry, Greenwood Pathway House, The Humane Society of Greenwood, Meg’s House, and many other community ministries.
Most recently, Resurrection has formed a partnership with Greenwood School District 50, supporting the guidance counselors who serve children in our community needing food, clothing and academic support. The Mission Partnerships Committee nurtures this relationship through the coordination of donation drives several times throughout the school year.
Resurrection is committed to utilizing the parish’s outdoor space to support our nearby community. The Mission Committee oversees a Blessing Box stocked with food and toiletries for neighbors in need. Additionally, the parish maintains a welcoming greenspace, a prayer labyrinth, and a playground for everyone to enjoy.
