Altar Guild

With prayerful attention to our worship environment, dedicated members of our Altar Guild keep the church in season by caring for the altar, linens, vestments, and vessels between services.

Acolytes

During a Sunday service, you might see acolytes carrying the cross, candles, or banners at the start and end of the service. They also help at the altar during Communion, prepare the table, hold the Gospel book, and assist the clergy as needed.

Eucharistic Ministers

As a Eucharistic Minister, you are the “welcoming host,” assisting at the altar rail and sharing the tangible gift of Christ’s love with your fellow parishioners.

Readers

Do you have a passion for Scripture and a clear voice? Become a Lector and bring the Word of God to life. As a steward of the Liturgy, you help our congregation hear God’s voice in a new way.

Ushers

Help everyone feel at home the moment they walk through our doors. As an usher, you aren’t just directing traffic—you are setting the tone for worship and helping people feel the love of Christ.

Music

We are looking for voices of all backgrounds to join us in leading worship. No need to be a professional—just bring your passion for music and worship.

Prayer Team

Our Prayer Team offers confidential support for those facing tough times. Join parishioners in the courtyard to offer them support.

Eucharistic Visitors

As a Eucharistic Visitor, you are a bridge between our Sunday altar and those who cannot join us due to illness or infirmity. You bring more than just communion; you bring connection, warmth, and the assurance that they are still a vibrant part of our church family.

Nursery

Join our team to help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for our youngest congregants. You aren’t just watching kids; you are welcoming the next generation into a loving church community.

Hospitality Coffee Hour

Help foster community by hosting our Sunday coffee hour! Volunteers prepare coffee and simple snacks, creating a warm, welcoming space for fellowship.

Flower Guild & Delivery

Help extend the beauty of our Sunday altar flowers! The Flower Guild breaks down the altar flowers into small bouquets and the Flower Delivery person delivers them to parishioners.

Blessing Box

Imagine a pantry that never closes, requires no paperwork, and serves our neighbors with absolute anonymity and dignity. That is the Blessing Box Ministry.

Daughters of the King

The Daughters of the King is a worldwide Order of women in liturgical churches, having begun in the Episcopal Church.  Each Daughter makes a lifelong commitment of prayer, service and evangelism to serve Christ through service to/for others in our diocese and the world.  We wear the fleury cross so that others may freely seek our services. Through prayer and service, we support the spiritual growth of each other, our rector and others.

At Resurrection, we assist the rector as requested to enhance the spiritual life of the congregation through pastoral care, a bereavement ministry, and a receptions ministry to honor members’ spiritual events from baptism to funerals.  DOK members maintain a prayer list by which we pray daily for parishioners, their family members and friends.  We meet monthly at the Church to encourage each other through activities of service, spiritual studies, and bringing ourselves and others closer to Christ.  We welcome inquiries or requests by contacting Sandy Gresham.
